Every line above is a post a real person made. Not scraped job boards.

The part nobody says out loud

You are not losing because you're not good enough.

You're losing because by the time you saw the job, the client already had fifty other people in the inbox, and you paid Upwork for the privilege of being number fifty-one.

Proposals on a job posted 10 minutes ago

Your odds
2%

And the top 4 bidders paid extra Connects to sit above you.

Connects are not a fee. They're an entry ticket to a raffle you usually lose, and you buy a new one every single time.
LinkedIn post: 500 Connects bid on a 500 dollar job
Real screenshot

500 Connects. On a $500 job.

That's roughly ₦120,000 in Connects gambled on one job you may never hear back from.

LinkedIn post: job posted 10 minutes ago already crossed 50 plus proposals
Real screenshot

10 minutes old. Already 50+ proposals.

"Upwork is not Upworking anymore." Their words, not ours.

LinkedIn post: 80 Connects, unverified payment
Real screenshot

80 Connects. Unverified payment.

You pay to bid. The client isn't even confirmed to have money. Make it make sense.

Upwork jobs with 17,500 and 50,000 dollar budgets, both 50 plus proposals
Real screenshot

$17,500. $50,000. 50+ proposals each.

The big money is exactly where the crowd is thickest. That's not opportunity. That's a queue.

What happened to Upwork

It didn't break overnight. It got worse every quarter while you kept paying.

These aren't our opinions. These are screenshots taken from LinkedIn. Freelancers and clients posting in real time about a platform that used to work and doesn't anymore.

LinkedIn: Upwork is starting to feel like a survival game, 159 likes, 118 comments
159 likes · 118 comments

"Upwork is starting to feel like a survival game."

An Executive and Operations VA posted this. It got 159 likes and 118 comments, all of them agreeing. This isn't a fringe opinion. It's a consensus.

LinkedIn: Upwork is slowly turning into a pay-to-win platform, bidding leaderboard showing 364 connects
42 likes · 22 comments

"Upwork is slowly turning into a pay-to-win platform."

That bidding leaderboard on the left? You're looking at 364 Connects just to get near the top of ONE job. A Shopify Developer posted this and the comment section called it "the irony": spend Connects or stay invisible.

LinkedIn: 520 connects to rank number one, Upwork's Bidding System a Cause for Concern
54 likes · 30 comments

520 Connects to rank first. On one job.

A Business Development Manager posted "Upwork's Bidding System: A Cause for Concern." The comment that says it best: "It turns the platform into a pay-to-play system where big agencies with massive budgets outbid actual skilled talent."

LinkedIn: Top Rated freelancer asks Is Upwork becoming a bidding platform instead of a talent platform
Top Rated seller · 100+ jobs

"Is Upwork becoming a bidding platform instead of a talent platform?"

This was posted by a Top Rated freelancer with over 100 completed jobs. Their conclusion: "Upwork Doesn't take it will." Even the people the platform is supposed to reward are walking away confused.

The platform changed the rules. You didn't. GigScout finds the clients who skipped Upwork entirely and posted on LinkedIn, where it costs nothing to reply.

And the other option isn't better

On Fiverr you don't have a business. You have a landlord.

You built the gig. You got the reviews. Then one silent algorithm change and your impressions die, and there is not one single person you can call, because you never had the client's contact. Fiverr had it. You just rented attention, monthly, in exchange for 20%.

Every day you stay on the bidding treadmill, you're training yourself to compete on price with someone who has less to lose than you.

Meanwhile, right now, today, a founder on LinkedIn is typing "we're looking for someone who can…" and dropping their WhatsApp number in the post. No bid. No commission. No competition, because almost nobody is watching.

You're not missing those posts because you're lazy. You're missing them because you can't sit on LinkedIn 24 hours a day. Something else has to.

The turn

GigScout is the thing that sits there so you don't have to.

It scans LinkedIn and X around the clock. It reads each post the way a smart human would and asks three questions before it ever touches your phone: Is this person actually hiring, or just talking? Is this my subscriber's field? Can they realistically take this from Nigeria? If any answer is no, you never see it.

Today, without it

  • Refresh Upwork. See 50+ proposals. Bid anyway.
  • Burn Connects on a client with unverified payment.
  • Write proposal #47 into a void, no reply.
  • Post on LinkedIn hoping someone finds you.
  • The real gig was posted at 2am. You saw it at noon. Gone.
  • End of month: same balance, more tired.

Tomorrow, with it

  • Phone buzzes. Someone is hiring, in your field, right now.
  • You get their name, title, the full post and the direct link.
  • You get a confidence score so you know what's worth your time.
  • You get an opening angle, telling you what to say in the first line.
  • You reply while there are still three comments, not three hundred.
  • Zero Connects. Zero commission. Zero middleman.

Receipts

These all landed on one phone. In one day.

Nothing here is a mockup. Every card below is an untouched screenshot of an alert GigScout sent: the poster's real name, their real words, the real timestamp.

One GigScout alert showing the poster, their words, a confidence score and an opening angle
Who posted it
Real name, real title, real company. You know exactly who you're talking to before you type a word.
Their actual words
The post itself, so you can mirror their language instead of sending the same tired template.
Confidence score
91 to 98 out of 100. It scores how sure it is that this is real, paid, and yours. Low scores never get sent.
Opening angle
One line telling you what to lead with for this specific person. "Lead with that you can take website updates and blog posting off their plate."
Direct link
Tap. You're on the post. Comment or DM in under thirty seconds.

Not just for developers

You say what you do. It works out the rest.

Video editor, copywriter, social media manager, designer, web developer, virtual assistant, voice-over artist, motion graphics, SEO, data entry. You say what you do in plain words and it works out the exact phrases clients use when they need someone like you. You never have to guess at search terms. A developer job will never reach a copywriter. That's not a promise, it's a hard rule in the code.

It also knows where you are. A post that says "remote, US only" gets thrown away before it reaches you. A post open to anyone gets sent. You never waste an evening on a job you were never eligible for.

Included every month

The live session where I show you the rest of it.

Once a month, on Google Meet, every subscriber gets on a call with me and I show you, screen shared and live, how to find the email address of the person who made the post and cold email them directly, so you're not just one comment under a hundred others.

That's the part almost nobody does. The alert gets you there first. The email gets you into their inbox alone.

The price

₦5,000/30 days
  • Unlimited alerts from LinkedIn and X, all day, every day
  • Pay by card, bank transfer or USSD, whichever suits you
  • Filtered to your exact field and your country
  • Confidence score and opening angle on every single alert
  • Direct link to the post. No middleman, no commission, no Connects
  • Monthly live Google Meet: finding poster emails and cold emailing them
  • Change your field or terms any time, in one message
  • Pay again only when you want another 30 days.
₦5,000 is roughly what 40 Connects costs you.
40 Connects is two or three proposals into a 50-person queue.
One reply from one alert pays for the whole year.

What happens the moment you pay

You'll be getting alerts before you finish your next cup of tea.

You pay with your card

Card, bank transfer or USSD on a secure Paystack page. Takes about a minute.

You land on a confirmation page straight away

The second the payment clears, Paystack sends you to it. Nobody has to approve you by hand.

One tap opens Telegram

Tap the button on that page. It opens the right chat and hands over your payment for you. Nothing to copy, nothing to type. Your account unlocks on the spot.

You answer four short questions

What you do, what country you're in, whether you want gigs or jobs or both, and which words matter to you. Takes about two minutes.

The alerts start

From that point your phone buzzes whenever someone posts something worth your time. Your 30 days start the moment you pay. When they run out I tell you, and you pay again only if you want to carry on. Nothing renews behind your back.

A real GigScout alert arriving in Telegram, a freelance tech video editor role scored 96 out of 100

One payment sets up one Telegram account. If you get stuck at any point, send /help in that chat and a human replies.

Before you ask

Fair questions.

Is this just scraped job boards?

No. These are posts real people wrote on LinkedIn and X, usually the founder or the hiring manager themselves. That's why so many of them have a WhatsApp number or an email address right there in the post.

How many alerts will I get?

It depends on your field and how tight your terms are. Some days a handful, some days more. It is deliberately built to send you fewer, better alerts rather than flooding you. Anything the filter isn't confident about never gets sent.

Do I still have to write the message myself?

Yes, and you should. GigScout gives you the opening angle so you know what to lead with, but the words are yours. That's exactly why it works. You're a person replying, not a template.

What if I'm not on Upwork or Fiverr at all?

Even better. This is a way to get client work without ever making an account on either of them.

What if I don't know what search terms to use?

You don't need to. You describe your service in your own words and it writes the terms for you, then shows them to you before using them. You can change them any time, or ask for a fresh set.

How do I cancel?

Then do nothing. There is no subscription to cancel, because nothing recurs. Your 30 days run out, the alerts stop, and you are never charged again unless you decide to pay for another 30.

Someone will reply to that post today.

The founder hiring 30 editors. The agency that needs extra hands. The recruiter with the ₦12L role. They're all going to hear from somebody before the day ends.

The only thing being decided right now is whether it's you.
